Graden Sand Injector
A build up of thatch on the surface of the green will stop water draining down and will even block a Drill n Fill duct over time. Greens will remain playable if water can be removed from the top inch of the surface.
- Graden Sand Injector rips thatch out of 12 % of soil surface
- Sand put into grooves 40mm deep set at 25mm spacings
- Soil amendments can be incorporated
- 17 tempered steel blades 3mm wide with tungsten tips

- Can be used year round, even in the damp
- Firms surface
Blec Sandmaster
Flooding and surface water can still blight turf containing a primary drainage system, especially where there is compaction or in heavy clay soils where the percolation has slowed. We operate the Blec Vibra Sandmaster to speed water off the surface and into the pipes. It will create sand slits 20mm wide and as deep as 200mm at 260mm centres to help you make the most of your drainage system.
The Sandmaster is used to improve drainage on a variety of turf types, ranging from golf greens to football and rugby pitches. Ecosol Turfcare has had excellent results sand slitting for leading football clubs such as Swindon Town and on rugby pitches including Bath Rugby and Neath Ospreys.
We can supply all backfill requirements as the Sandmaster works with wet or dry materials. Mounted behind a tractor, it will decompact and surface drain all in one pass. The rear flotation tyres gently firm up the ground, leaving a level, ready to play surface.
SQRL 600
Debris collection Turf can be put back into play very quickly once debris has been collected from the surface. To save time and manpower, Ecosol Turfcare can also supply the revolutionary SQRL 600, a walk-behind greens sweeper. This collects and removes spoil and scarified material from fine turf surfaces. Equipped with a hydraulically-tipped high-dump hopper, the machine can off-load collected material rapidly and cleanly into a trailer or Gator.
